A LAS ORGANIZACIONES DE DERECHOS HUMANOS

Como Grupo Abogados en Solidaridad con los Presos Anarquistas y representantes del ahora indiciado Mario Antonio López Hernández queremos hacer una denuncia pública respecto de las notorias irregularidades y las graveas violaciones en el proceso de nuestro defenso, en las cuales han incurrido los funcionarios públicos tanto de la Agencia de Investigación Coyoacán 2 durante la averiguación previa como del Juzgado Penal en el que ahora se encuentra radicado el proceso. En primer lugar, y a pesar de que como abogadas particulares nuestro defenso nos autorizó desde el día 27 de junio de 2012 siendo las 16 horas, aún no se nos ha permitido protestar el cargo como abogadas particulares, violando con este hecho las más elementales garantías al debido proceso penal y de respeto a sus derechos humanos fundamentales.

Asimismo, las imputaciones están basadas en pruebas poco verosímiles obtenidas bajo tortura psicológica y en condiciones médicas no propicias para llevarse a cabo.

También queremos decir que como Grupo de Abogados en Solidaridad con los Presos Anarquistas llevaremos a cabo tanto una estrategia legal de defensa como una estrategia legal también de ofensiva, que no claudicará hasta lograr la libertad de nuestro defenso pero también la sanción de todo servidor público que ha incurrido en delitos graves y violaciones al proceso los cuales interpretamos como actos discriminatorios en contra del movimiento y la ideología política anarquista.

El objetivo de esta rueda de prensa es denunciar el burdo montaje policial que han puesto en marcha las autoridades del Distrito Federal, en su intento desesperado por presentar el desmantelamiento ficticio de los grupos de acción anarquista. Asimismo, queremos denunciar el secuestro por parte de las autoridades capitalinas de la ciudadana australiana Felicity Ann Ryder, quienes después de haber informado a los medios de su detención (como lo corrobora el Diario Excelsior en su edición del 29 de junio en una nota a cargo de Filiberto Cruz Monroy y el noticiario televisivo Cadena Tres la misma fecha), no han hecho público en qué lugar la mantienen encerrada y bajo qué acusaciones; por lo que exigimos su inmediata presentación con vida, responsabilizando a las autoridades capitalinas, particularmente al Jefe de Gobierno del Distrito Federal, Marcelo Ebrard y al Procurador capitalino, Jesús Rodríguez Almeida; por todo lo que le pueda ocurrir o le haya sucedido en el transcurso de las últimas 24 horas.

As the Lawyers Group in Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners and legal representatives of the accused, Mario Antonio Lopez Hernandez, we wish to issue a public denunciation of the flagrant irregularities and grave violations of process that have been perpetrated against our defense efforts by such public functionaries as the Investigation Agency of Coyoacan 2, during the pre-trial investigation, and by the Penal Court, before which Mr. Lopez Hernandez’s trial is taking place. Most important, despite the fact that we have been engaged as attorneys for Mr. Lopez Hernandez since June 27, we were denied the

opportunity to protest the charge against him for 16 hours, which is a violation both of basic guarantees of due process and of fundamental human rights.

We likewise charge that the imputations against Mr. Lopez Hernandez are based on poorly substantiated accusations that were obtained through the use of psychological torture and under unpropitious medical conditions.

We would also like to announce that as the Lawyers Group in Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners, we intend to pursue both a defensive legal strategy and an offensive one, with the intent not only of securing full freedom of action for our defense efforts, but also of sanctioning all public servants implicated in the grave transgressions and violations of due process that have already occurred, which we interpret as discriminatory acts directed against the anarchist movement and against anarchist political ideology.

The purpose of this press release, in sum, is to denounce the coarse police barrage that the authorities of the Federal District have unleashed in their desperate attempt to demonstrate the fictitious dismantling of the anarchist action groups. Finally, we wish to denounce the sequestration of the Australian citizen, Felicity Ann Ryder, by the authorities of the capital who, after having informed the media of her detention (corroborated by the June 29 edition of El Diario Excelsior in a notice by Filiberto Cruz Monroy, and by Chain Three news on the same day), have still not made public either where

or under what charges she is being held. We therefore demand her immediate presentation, alive, and will hold the capital authorities, especially Chief of Government of the Federal District, Marcelo Ebrard, and the capital Solicitor, Jesus Rodriguez Almeida, responsible for whatever might happen to her, or whatever has already happened to her during the last 24 hours.
