Small Farm Movement Takes Root in the Motor City

The morning’s farm activities include: milking the goats, carrying hay out to the horse, feeding the chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, etc. and collecting eggs, and tending the rabbits. All the familiar farm chores…only these are all being done in the heart of the City of Detroit, almost within sight of the smokestacks of the giant Ford complex.

Very interesting article. Without any disrespect, a lot of Utopian\'s articles are at an overly high level. It is good to read about concrete work being done in a real-world situation. Hope you can have more like this in the future. MD, New York
